The mission of Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is to provide innovative and inclusive museum experiences that inspire kindness, joy, creativity and curiosity for all learners.

Named one of the 10 best Children’s Museums in the country by USA Today’s 2020 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards, the museum is a place where imagination and curiosity are celebrated. The permanent exhibits are simple and encourage open-ended free play: the garden, backyard, water play, and the limb bender are just a few examples.

The museum also features drop-in art time as well as artist directed workshops for children to explore all different types of artistic mediums.
