The Philadelphia Museum of Art is one of the largest museums in the United States. It contains a vast collection of art, from ancient to modern times. The museum is also home to the famous “Rocky” steps, which Sylvester Stallone famously ran up in the movie “Rocky.” When you’re ever in Philly, this should be top on your list of places to visit with the family.
Philadelphia’s art museum contains a world-renowned collection in its landmark building. Bringing the arts to life to inspire visitors of all ages, the museum connects people with the arts in all kinds of rich and varied ways.
Their collection reflects our unique history and the passions of generations of Philadelphia collectors and curators. The museum collection comprises eight curatorial departments: American Art; Contemporary Art; Costume & Textiles; East Asian Art; European Decorative Arts and Sculpture; European Painting; Prints, Drawings & Photographs; and South Asian Art.

Admission Information
Enjoy two-day access to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Rodin Museum with a general admission ticket.
Advance reservations are strongly recommended. Tickets are available for entry for each half-hour time slot, up to four weeks in advance of today’s date, with new tickets released every Tuesday.
Enjoy Pay What You Wish admission on the first Sunday of the month and every Friday night (5:00–8:45 p.m.). Free admission for PA ACCESS & EBT cardholders and their family members.
