The Rosenbach
About
The Rosenbach creates programs and exhibitions inspired by a collection of nearly 400,000 rare books, manuscripts, and fine and decorative arts objects, including some of the best-known literary and historical objects in the world. The Rosenbach’s programs – from Reading Courses to literary cocktail parties – serve people from around the corner and around the globe.
The Rosenbach welcomes visitors of all ages! They strive to create an environment that helps families learn together. Taking a tour through the historic house? Ask for a copy of our fun family activity guide created especially for young visitors. Visiting one of our special exhibitions? They create activity guides for exhibitions that will appeal to young visitors. See below for links to those guides. The museum also offers occasional programs and events for families, which are listed below. Tuckered out after a whirlwind visit through Rosenbach? Curl up with a book in our lobby or pick up a colored pencil and color our collection! Whatever you choose to do at The Rosenbach, they are confident that you will leave feeling educated, enlightened, and energized!
