About

Harmony Museum is more than just artifacts and displays.  We strive to engage visitors to Harmony in the culture, stories, and architecture that shaped this region. The overarching goal is to build a vibrant community by using cultural and historic resources in ways that add value to citizen’s lives today and in the future.

Our history includes the Lenape (Delaware) Indian settlement, Murdering Town, Major George Washington, “Father” George Rapp and the Harmonists from Germany, Mennonites, and so much more! Come discover the big history of this little town.

The Harmony Museum is operated by a passionate and dedicated bunch of employees, board members and volunteers. It is part of Historic Harmony, Inc. the historic organization that maintains and preserves 9 properties.
