Not every battle is won with a sword. That’s the powerful message of the newest show at Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster, David. This Biblical epic tells the story of David, from his humble beginnings as a shepherd boy to his coronation as King of Israel. The cast and crew of Sight and Sound Lancaster have been working hard for years to bring this production to life, and the results are mind-blowing.
David’s journey to the throne is filled with towering giants, rampaging wild animals, and Philistine soldiers as he climbs from still waters to shadowed valleys.
After unprecedented victories lead to devastating failures, this passionate warrior will face the biggest battle of all: the one within himself.
The Sight and Sound Theatre welcomes you to come alongside David as a young shepherd on his journey to become a man after God’s own heart.
With original music inspired by the Psalms, DAVID is a state-of-the-art theatrical experience for the whole family. You’ll witness one of the most legendary Bible stories as it comes to life with spectacular special effects, massive sets, and live animals in this brand-new stage production all right here just outside of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

How is social distancing handled at the Theater? Are masks required?
From what we’ve read online, it looks like masks are optional.
Is there a PDF of the graphic that I can use (with permission of course) to advertise this on our church’s social media page? We are trying to fill a bus. Thank you.
When do you anticipate the dvd of David to be available?
Hi, Kristie. I haven’t heard anything, but you could always send the theater a message on Facebook. They reply rather quickly. 🙂
