Sesame Place in Pennsylvania

Sesame Place is the nation’s only theme park on the east coast based entirely on Sesame Street® and the first theme park in the world designated as a Certified Autism Center. Each ride has a IBCCES Sensory Guideâ„¢ to accompany it so that parents can make the best choice possible for their children.

At Sesame Place you’ll experience family-friendly rides, water attractions, and live Sesame Street shows to keep your family entertained all day long! With over 16 kid-friendly rides, 9 family-friendly water rides, 3 live Sesame Street shows, and more, you’ll have plenty to see and do. Sesame Place is a great place for children to have their first amusement park experience because the rides were designed with them in mind.

The rides at Sesame Place are what you’d expect to see at an amusement park, but with a lovable, furry monster twist. Kids {and their grownups, too!} can Blast Off in a UFO (Unidentified Furry Object) and ride through the stars to Planet Elmo. When the weather is hot, you can float in a tube on Big Bird’s Rambling River in the Waterpark area.

Families can climb aboard Captain Cookie’s High C’s Adventure for a wave-like ride. There’s also Slimey’s Square for the under 5 crowd to climb and play. To see the full list of rides and attractions and their season openings, you can click HERE for a full list. For those looking forward to the water rides, the water attractions open on May 27th.
